I needed a solo retreat and needed some place peaceful, private, inspiring and interesting! Dana's place checked all those boxes and then some. It is clear that a lot of love went in to the place, and all of the intentionally curated pieces from around the world really made me feel like I traveled much further than my 1 hour drive from Fairfax. Waking up to the views of Tomales Bay, being able to go and sit on the private dock, watching the sunset and listening to the sounds of birds and the water, it was exactly what I needed. My only complaint is that I didn't book it for longer 😂 But that's my fault. ha. Thank you, Dana!! I'll be back.

Dana’s home was a perfect getaway. The carriage house was full of unique art and furniture yet comfortable and relaxing. All the outdoor spaces were so charming and the view and access to the bay were spectacular. Even though we were in close proximity to the main home it still felt private and Dana gave us some great tips on local events that we never would have know about otherwise. There is not a full kitchen but that was made clear on the posting and we really didn’t miss it because there were plenty of appliances to fulfill our needs. We are looking forward to visiting again in the future.

Such a beautiful spot - peaceful with water lapping gently against the shore, foggy mist rolling in and out. Listing describes as no kitchen - but it really has everything you need to bring in farm-fresh goodies from nearby (coffee machine, microwave, toaster, frig, and dishes). Lots of great books, puzzles and fireplace. Wish we could have stayed longer......thanks Dana for being so generous sharing your slice of heaven.

Carriage house is artisticly designed and decorated with lots of details. There are plenty of books to read and couple of board games to play...
