Located minutes from Tennessee's best waterfalls, our cabin sits on 2 acres with a pond. We love escaping the city to unwind by the fire or for a hiking weekend. Just an hour from Chattanooga and under 2 hours from Nashville. This Cumberland Plateau cabin features one private bedroom and a lofted living and sleeping area with two additional beds. Hang out on the double porches or by the fire pit for an evening under the stars. This is our personal cabin, so booking is limited. We are in the woods with wildlife, so wi-if can be spotty. Please do not rely on it! Take a break. We do have good service outside of the occasional storm. The TV has movies for all. Our cabin is cozy and quaint. The roof is pitched on the second floor, so it is best for one person per bed so you do not bump your head in the middle of the night.

We enjoyed our stay at Sarah’s Cabin. It was set off the road on a quant piece of property. Pictures were very accurate to what it was actually like. Cabin was extremely well kept and clean. It’s the first airbnb where I actually felt like I was in my own space. We were there for a concert at The Caverns, which was a 15 min trek down the mountain. Convenient to our venue. During our stay, we went on a hike nearby at Fiery Gizzard (Tn State Park). Simply stunning!!! If you’ve got an hour or two to spare, do the 2 mile loop. This was a 5 min drive from the cabin. Everything we needed was provided at the cabin…even good toilet paper!! 🧻 Sarah was a great host and would highly recommend staying at this little slice of heaven.

We had a wonderful time at Sarah's quaint cottage for Thanksgiving! the location was private and just enough secluded but a quick drive to great hiking trails, some yummy restaurants, and an easy drive to Chattanooga for the day or neighboring towns to explore. Sarah was super helpful and responsive when we had a wifi issue. Plus, she gave great recommendations for hiking trails and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again. We really got a feel for the area and enjoyed our stay - we didn't want to leave!

The cabin sits behind two other primary residences on 2 acres. It is a rural area. The closest larger grocery is about 20 minutes down the mountain, so plan ahead. There is a gas station in town for firewood, etc. We do have a Family Dollar now with a grocery section for staples.
If you are coming during winter weather, come through Monteagle versus up the mountain in Pelham for a safer journey.
