Laura provided a beautiful room for my 1.5 week visit to Maccleafield! It was the perfect location, within walking distance to a plethora of food options. The room was very comfortable and had all the amenities you would want. One word of warning, if you are a light sleeper, be aware that the restaurant on the first floor has a bar and the associated later hours so while its great for grabbing an easy dinner, you can hear a fair amount of sound through the floors/walls.

This place is quirky, attractively and cleverly furnished, gorgeously comfy bed and quilts like Grandma used to have = fabulous. Lovely touches , like sweet packets - for your delight. Only two small crits:- hallway very, very dark for the elderly and oooh Laura - the instant coffee - arguably, the grimmest instant ever. Thank you tho’, my stay was a pleasure and the restaurant below - so friendly, its food and service are great.
