Take a break & unwind in this A-Frame cabin, bordering .5 acres of woods. This rustic log cabin is rural & an escape from busy city living. 2.6 miles to Cave Run Lake and the National Boone Forest. Short drive to the Red River Gorge. This is a “cabin in the woods” experience, it is not a luxury hotel or resort. A forest setting: ladybugs, birds, other tiny critters, the occasional deer, fox, raccoon, & dog can be found amongst the trees, grass & sunshine. Time spent here is unique & memorable. 2 story A-Frame cabin, 2 bedrooms (both upstairs), 1 bathroom, 2 private decks, fire pit, bordering large expansive forest, night sky filled with stars for your enjoyment

It's a great place to get away from it all
good place for the price, great access to cave run lake and doable to get to the gorge. 2 neighborhood dogs are unleashed, so made it tricky for us to take our dog out since our dog is not a friendly dog. Bed, comfort, and cleanliness OK but not great, but overall good value for the overall place.
If you are looking for a place to re group and just have serenity this is def the place. We will be back soon!
The cabin was exactly as advertised, easy to find, very clean & tidy. Instructions for Wi-Fi and departure expectations were all neatly posted, clear & easy to understand. Cabin was cozy & comfy...had everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again.
