We loved our stay at this hotel, highly recommend for those looking to visit Machu Pikchu. The owners were incredibly nice, the rooms were great with great water pressure and temperature, and the breakfast was super generous. Would stay here again.

Fijne bedden en lekkere douche. Kamer is wel heel erg gehorig, niet fijn als je de volgende ochtend om 5am wil opstaan voor Machu Picchu. Het hotel gaf ons een lunchpakket mee, dat was erg lekker en veel. Wat niet klopt is de uitchecktijd. Volgens Airbnb is dat 11:00 uur maar het hotel houdt 10 uur aan. Wij kwamen kwart voor 10 terug in het hotel maar mochten niet meer douchen omdat onze kamer al was schoongemaakt. Dat vond ik jammer.

Pros - I prioritize clean bathrooms, and this airbnb's bathroom was very clean and modern. Their shower area was very spacious with hot running water. Loved the bathroom area. - check-in was good. - the free breakfast was bread, butter, some fruits, ham, avocados, juice, cocoa leaves tea. Not bad, not amazing. - Good location - Allowed us to keep your bags in our private room after check out so we could venture around Aguas Calientes. - Staff was friendly and nice. Cons - Our room had a weird smell, it felt like expired Chinese food? I am not sure how to describe it but we could smell it on the pillows. The smell was strong around the gap between the bed and the nightstand. - Not the airbnb's fault, but there was a rooster that woke us up a little too early....it was nonstop crowing lol. - there is some distance from the train, but you can hear the train as well sometimes. The rooster was the bigger problem though. - this airbnb can get cold, layer up! - the view that we had was another hotel. Basically, hotel rooms were facing each other. It didn't feel so private, but we were at Aguas Calientes when it wasn't so busy, so the rooms in front of us were dark and empty.
