We had a great stay at the McGee House. It was close to our activities, and fit everyone’s needs for work as well! Very reminiscent of visiting my family that once lived in KC. Loved the front porch swing!

We had a great time in KC, this house was perfectly located for us- an easy 5 minute drive to union station and crown center. They provided a crib for us for our youngest which was so helpful! The neighborhood surrounding is walkable with great coffee, local restaurants, and some nice local shops. I can’t recommend enough for a small, young family!

Mabry & Liz’s house was the perfect place for my day with my wife & our toddler during our 4 night stay in KC. It was easily walkable to several great local spots (The Russell, Billie’s Grocery, Prefix Coffee) & a short ride on transit or car to many attractions (Union Station, KC Zoo, Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Joe’s BBQ). It was also a short car ride to a couple of grocery store options. I was also pleasantly surprised at how bikeable KC is (tons of protected bike lanes near the house), but we didn’t think to bring helmets or rent bikes. I know some reviews mention concerns with the neighborhood but we felt completely safe & comfortable our whole stay. We even walked the 2 miles from Casual Animal Brewing to the house. I’d be remiss to not mention how lovely Mabry & Liz were as hosts. They were responsive to questions we had and helpful with suggestions. Their home is extremely comfortable. We enjoyed hanging out on the from porch swing or cozying up on the living room couch.
