Enjoyed our wonderful stay at the cozy Ivy Wood. The perfect location for our peaceful, redwood family retreat. Lovely views from every window. Well appointed and properly prepared. Cherie was proactive in assuring a pleasant stay. Would love to book again!

The Ivy Wood is a beautiful, serene place to stay. We enjoyed all the sunlight in the main living area and the design choices that were made. However, this house was riddled with the minor inconveniences that seem to be a hallmark of Airbnb stays these days. The kitchen faucet had a major leak and was unusable. When we contacted our host, she was unresponsive, leaving us to message an inconsiderate "emergency" contact. The main shower was clogged and barely drained, the kitchen was missing some basic cooking supplies, there was no hot water in the studio, there were lots of ants in the kitchen, etc., etc. Nobody wants to nag their Airbnb host about such minor things so we just dealt with it, but the number of small issues added up to quite a bit of annoyance. Most frustrating was the INTENSE sewage smell in the largest bedroom, which seemed to be caused by something in the bathroom above it. There was no obvious problem but it was pretty gross. Overall a fine stay but overpriced.

This home was to spend one night while passing through the area. It was me and my boyfriend, our daughter and her best friend. It was the girl’s college graduation trip. The home was beautiful and cozy. Each girl had her own bedroom. The bedrooms were feminine and romantic-looking and the girls loved them. Their favorite spot was the nook where they sat and drank wine and giggled as they looked through their photos. The hot tub was to temperature when we got there but it was too rainy to use. The house is as described and the hosts were responsive. A very pleasant stay.

We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely recommend this place to others! Out of every window there is a beautiful view of the trees and a quietness about the surroundings. The decor and home were inspiring and magazine like, and we loved ending our evening sitting in the hot tub outside under the stars. Overall a fabulous and restful stay…it was magical.
