I stayed in Helga's property for one month. The first 2 weeks I stayed in an apartment (Sol) towards the back of the property and then the second 2 weeks I stayed in the main house. The apartment (Sol) was practical, clean, and perfect for my stay. I loved the traditional tile in the bathroom and having use of an outdoor kitchen and hammock. It was extremely quiet and the on-site security / cleaning team were very available and attentive (more water, extra cleaning, new towels etc). Additionally, any questions I had were answered by text almost immediately. The house was very large with a spacious open kitchen, living room, and dining room. A seperate bedroom (with AC) and has a view of the ocean which is beautiful. There is a small pool and outdoor shower at the end of the garden, over looking the ocean which was a beautiful place to have my morning coffee. I would definitely stay again.

The pictures don’t do this place justice - it is quite spacious and the shared backyard is a beautiful, flowering, plant filled, ocean-front oasis. We loved whale watching from the mini pool with a mimosa in the morning! The inside is rustic and kitschy. Some rooms could benefit from an update (e.g. the bed was hard), yet we had all we needed for our stay. The kitchen is well equipped with all the appliances one would need. The people (& dogs!) caretaking the place are super friendly and helpful.

The place is an oasis, and the location is perfect. We had a great stay overall. The staff at the property were amazing and extremely helpful. My wife got food poisoning from one of the meals at a restaurant nearby, and needed to go to the hospital. The staff called an ambulance and also checked in to see if we needed help. Highly recommended.

Helga's house is in a high-end residential area poised over the ocean. It's a 10-minute walk from Playa Carrizalillo, the nicest beach in PE for swimming, and a short walk to a strip of restaurants and cafes. Def not the area to be in if you're looking to party, good if you want to chill alone in the quiet PE oceanfront suburbs. The house itself looks like something from a Mexican soap opera - which we thought was fun for a few days.

The house was above and beyond what we expected. The location was perfect and the view was outstanding!
