We have a small Studio Apartment down a quiet street off Mt Eden Road in Epsom. It has a Queen Size bed, a fitted kitchenette complete with dishwasher and underbench fridge, a microwave, toaster and kettle. PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS NO STOVE SO NO COOKING FACILITY. A seperate bathroom has a shower, toilet and vanity and heated towel rail. An air conditioning unit/ heat pump has also been installed. There is a 32" Flatscreen LED Television/Media Player and the Studio has free WI-FI. There is a large 3 sliding door wardrobe with plenty of hanging space and suitcase storage. The Studio has its own walk-in entrance and is completely separate from our home. There is plenty of free parking on the street but, as with most cities, guests are advised to leave nothing of value in parked cars. We are located 400 metres from the bus stop on Mt Eden Road which goes into the city. You will require an AT Hop card for this. You could also walk 1000 metres or ten minute walk to Mt Eden Village which has a large range of cafes, a pub, and restaurants. There is also a Post Office, Travel Shop, Chemist, Fruit Shop and Laundromat. We are a four minute drive to the ASB Showgrounds which are opposite the beautiful, Cornwall Park. The City centre, Viaduct Basin (Ferries, Marina, Restaurants etc) and transport centre Britomart is a 10 minute drive away or the bus stop at the top of our street (400metres) is approx 15-20 minute ride. Just through the village toward the city is Mt Eden mountain with its volcanic crater and spectacular city and harbour views. Eden Park is about 3km away 35 min walk and Dominion Road with its many low-cost Asian restaurants is also very handy. Unfortunately, the studio has no facilities for babies/young children or pets.
