This is a studio efficiency unit in the top floor (3rd) in a classic beach motel. Spacious, clean, warm ( our visit was at Thanksgiving), and all amenities as described. Awesome picture window view of the ocean. Other beach motels in the area closed up for winter, but our host generously serves his community by opening for winter shelter, and every one was respectful. Our host also owns the resto across the street, Gino's on the Beach, which was serving a family style buffet for thanksgiving...absolutely delicious food and charming cook and crew. If you want a New England Inn and NY Times dining experience, go to Watch Hill. This place gave us honest value, welcoming family dining, and for gosh sakes, miles of beach to walk.

The room was great and beach only a few feet away. The only issue we had was loud guests that were rude and yelled early in the morning and at night. Not the fault of the facility.

Eugene is the name of the owner of the motel. He never responded to me but the ladies at the motel office did. They were super nice and extremely welcoming.! Had they not been the ones I corresponded with I would have been disappointed. Also there are stairs for all rooms. Just FYI . All in all it was peaceful and relaxing.

The hotel is no longer under construction. This is our second time staying here and not one complaint. The room is always perfect, the location is perfect right on the ocean and there is a super cute beach bar right outside the room! This place is the best bang for your buck!

The description of this as a “private apartment” is inaccurate. It is a motel room with a kitchen and bedroom that is under major renovation. Once it’s completed will be a quiet getaway but until then expect to hear the ocean mixed with sounds of construction saws and painting all day.
