Definitely rustic but mostly clean (corners neglected) and nice and quiet. The area is beautiful. It was just a place to sleep for us while exploring PEI so we didn't use all the amenities like the full kitchen. The beds could definitely be upgraded but also not the worst I ever slept in. The breakfast in the Cafe looked great but we didn't have any. We did take the free coffee which sadly wasn't very good but better than nothing.

I would highly recommend Sea Shell Motel to anyone visiting PEI. It’s a lovely, cosy and very convenient spot. We loved being there and we enjoyed meeting Tammy ( the owner) and her daughter. They were both friendly, kind and extremely hospitable.

The host was fantastic and responsive. The Cafe was delightful as well. Some upgrades for comfort would go a long way. The beds were very outdated and made it difficult for a pain free sleep. The pull out couch didn't pull out either. On the plus side as well, loved the pressure from the shower and the area was beyond scenic and beautiful.
