Tremendous farm stay! Appreciated the little extras - such as complimentary milk, ground coffee, rusks... Extremely peaceful, lovely Karoo surrounds, some great birding and the dog loved the space. Recommended!

We loved our stay at Britskraal Guest Farm. Truly beautiful Karoo landscapes and watching the sunsets from the wraparound "stoep" was breathtaking! The host provided us with all the things that we could possibly need. The fridge had basics like milk, butter, condiments, etc. There were water, cold drinks and wine available in an honesty bar as well as fire wood and Karoo lamb chops in the freezer! Divine! We stayed for 5 days over Christmas and although it was very hot, the house was cool - the water-cooler / AC worked well. We will definitely be back and recommend this place to anyone, not only on route as a sleepover between Johannesburg and Cape Town, but as a destination on its own! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful place in the middle of nowhere, exactly as described and photographed. Miles of open space around with only sheep for company. Shame we only had one night to spend here, you could easily spend several days!
