Gloria’s house lovingly combines restored period details and hand selected antique pieces, with the modern conveniences of dishwasher, washing machine etc. Clean, neat & organised, Gloria’s house is a 3min drive to the crystal clear waters of largs bay beach & waterfront hotel, and moments from Semaphore’s ice cream shop.

Nice quaint property in a quiet suburb

The home is in a wonderful location, close to the beach on a quiet street. Having an enclosed yard is a nice touch. If you're booking for a short stay this would be ideal. If you are staying longer or have young children perhaps not. Whilst the property is old, there are maintenance issues with the air conditioner, and the period decorating of the home means extra care needs to be taken with little ones. The beds and pillows were not overly comfortable. The fridge/freezer storage is small, again more suited to a short booking. Some items posted in the listing were not provided and there were items left though out the home that were either from a previous guest / not cleaned or returned to their proper location. Gloria kindly brought us some milk at check in, and attempted to facilitate repairs to the TV where she could in a timely manner. Overall, a charming home but there is room for improvement, especially when paying premium prices for the location.

The house was perfectly located for our needs and the cottage decor was full of character. The back garden/deck was a lovely surprise. Gloria was very responsive and easy to deal with.
