Exceptional My wife and I stayed at “Rosehaven Cottage” for 4 days, our stay was exceptional, the cottage is superbly equipped particularly the kitchen with everything one needs, the cottage is beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable, and the house is exceptionally clean and cared for, the paintings and pottery in the house are treasures, the stay at the cottage provides one the privilege to view these exquisite family and personal artefacts. The hosts in particular Braam, are very responsive to any queries and provided numerous suggestions on places to visit and restaurant recommendations, all our visit to the cottage was exceptional, we will be returning, and have no hesitation in recommending “Rosehaven Cottage”. Our stay at this charming cottage in Swellendam was nothing short of magical. A combination of eclectic charm and pristine comfort. The thoughtful touches throughout the cottage truly made us feel at home, from the oat milk in the fridge, the eco-friendly dishwashing liquid, and the superbly equipped kitchen. It's evident that the host goes above and beyond to ensure guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. The host’s responsiveness and friendliness was remarkable. They provided us with super suggestions for things to do in the area and engaged wonderfully with our kids, making them feel welcome and valued. One particular gesture that stood out was the host's willingness to accommodate our request for an early check-in. It's these small acts of hospitality that truly set this cottage apart. Overall, our experience at this cottage was superb and without a doubt, we will be returning to stay at this delightful cottage.

A first-time visit to Swellendam made perfect by my stay here. A charming place with a lovely garden and a stunning mountainous backdrop. It's equipped with everything you would need and is fairly close to the town's main street too if need be. I was travelling with my niece and nephews who were also perfectly comfortable too. Braam's communication before and during our stay was top notch and I look forward to another visit.

We had an absolutely wonderful 3-night stay at Rose Cottage -- the house is warm and welcoming and we felt immediately at home there! Braam and Stanley had thought of everything, including fresh flowers for our arrival. The home is beautifully and lovingly decorated. We especially enjoyed the comfy daybed on the veranda with a glass of wine and a cheese board at the end of the day. Can heartily recommend Rose Cottage -- we would gladly return!
