Have stayed in Air BnB on other occasions, so we expected the usual 'homely' accommodation however we didn't know it was a motel that even though it was comfortable and ok accommodation we were let down by the description versus no mention it was an older Aussie motel. The room is tired, toilet door jams (out of shape door opening) electrical power switch hanging off the wall (dangerous around our 3 year old) and as we stayed two nights the biggest concern, were the two large sliding windows that had no locks and can be easily opened. We made sure nothing of value was left behind whilst we travelled for the day. Small point but toaster provided, but no plates, knives, or bowls. Would we stay there again? no, we would look for something that was more 'homely'. Overall, it was 'comfy' for its age, not secure, but close to fish and chip shop, supermarket, pub etc. May I suggest Rohan advertise his Air BnB as a motel room on the main highway.

We enjoyed our stay, unfortunately the advertising wasn’t as clear as we would have liked as it ended up being a Motel on a main road, not what we thought we were heading to. The room advertised was not the room we got so we feel we paid more than we should have in this instance. Having said that, Rohan was extremely pleasant and helpful on the phone and the lady in the restaurant couldn’t be more helpful.

Rohan’s family room matched the photos of the room. It was the most spacious family room we have stayed in Even though there were 3 single beds and a queen, it was not cramped. Everything was very clean and tidy. Our room number was 18 and it is tucked away, so quite private. It overlooks paddocks and what looked like a walking track so you are not overlooked. We appreciated being able to bring our small dog. Wedderburn is a lovely town to explore on foot and discover the history. We found the local op shop manned by very friendly volunteers. Their is a restaurant on site and a lovely pub just up the road. Rohan gave clear instructions for check in. The description would lead you to think it was a bed and breakfast but that is not the case at the moment. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to visit there again if we have the opportunity.

The room was very spacious and hidden in the corner that was great but unfortunately the neighbours smoked throughout the night and it ended up in my room. This isn’t the hosts fault but just something to be weary of if you have Asthma like me. Otherwise good for a layover between destinations. Burger from across the road was delish…
