Loved it so much we have already booked another stay! Simple, spotless 1 bedroom apartment overlooking the ocean. There is a lovely housekeeper who will change bedding and towels. The apartment is right across the street from the ocean, but it is a one way street and not busy or loud. Easy too keep the living room window open to enjoy watching the waves. Two great restaurants 1 minute walk to the north, and about twelve great restaurants 5 minute walk to the south into town. Grocery store less than 10 minutes away. Heywoods Beach is a 5 minute walk to the north if you like quiet. If you like busier, there is a beach in town where there are bars and you can rent kayaks and other fun toys. There are beach sections that are pure sand, then also sections with great snorkelling over coral. Did not get as far north as Port St Charles, but from a distance the yachts are breathtaking. Something for everyone! Alysia's husband Kirk even does airport pickups and dropoffs!

My second stay at Sunset Sands and it as lovely as my first visit few years back. Alysia is a great host who is always quick to respond and actively helpful. Superb location overlooking beach and fantastic sea view, spacious, airy & comfortable equipped with everything you might need during your stay. There’s a few more restaurants nearby now and I would highly recommend trying the fully loaded fish cutter (fish, egg & cheese) at the Caboose with ketchup, mayo & hot sauce. Absolutely delicious!! Hayward’s beach nearby never disappoints either. Pretty sure I’ll be returning for another fantastic stay. Thanks Alysia for being so helpful and making my stay so enjoyable. Say thank you to Margaret too who was so lovely and helpful during my brief stay.

Great location right in the heart of Speightstown, across the street from the beach with a direct view of the ocean. Alysia was a fantastic host and was there to greet me when I checked in. I would highly recommend. Charming place with great kitchen. Local grocery store is only a ten minute walk away.
