Lovely place, wouldn’t know pets were allowed (we’re not lovers 😂), perfect location, short walk to anything you need/want. Would stop again (we don’t often say that!). Thank you ❤️

A delightful and really special Air BnB that we’d thoroughly recommend. The Plaice is decorated with style, attention to detail and charm that makes it unique (in a good way!) while also being spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. The hosts were kind, generous and generally wonderful, from the thoughtful (and tasty) extras on arrival to a treat for my birthday. The location is great with easy access to the Fish quay, Tynemouth and the Metro on foot and Northumberland Park just round the corner for a stroll. We’d love to return.

My husband and I had a great vacation. I grew up in the area and we had lots of activities planned before our arrival. The apartment was in good location for exploring the region and such a pleasure to come home to. Everything was wonderful and exactly as described. The photos do not do justice to the remarkable decor - Nicky certainly has a flare! We just loved having breakfast with the fish - beautiful tank. Nicky was very supportive and helpful with all of our questions. Metro, shopping and Tynemouth all in walking distance. We always found a parking space on the street. I thoroughly recommend 'The Plaice"

The Plaice is a wonderful flat . The photos really don't do it justice . The decoration is very stylish and it is warm and cosy . The bed is very comfortable and we slept well . There is everything there that you could possibly want or need . We met Nicky and she was so welcoming and helpful . We would highly recommend The Plaice to our friends and family.
