Make La Sirena your jumping off location for:
• Exploring the secluded South Shore beaches. Beach lovers will find absolute nirvana. Some only accessible by Water Taxi. A short walk along the Malecon and you reach the pier for Panga travel. The more adventurous can hike the coastline trail. The first of numerous beaches, Colomitos, is only 4 minutes by Panga or an easy trek.
• Great fishing in the Bay of Banderas, it is world known. Fishing rigged Pangas are available at the pier for half and full day excursions. Half days are inshore with full days to deeper waters. La Sirena is a great hangout for fishing groups, offering separate accommodations for 4 anglers or a couple w a youngster ready to try their luck. Panga fishing is more affordable than typical trips out of Puerto Vallarta.
• Magnificent diving along the nearby coast. Los Arcos National Park, a marine sanctuary, is just a few minutes north of Boca.
• Easy access to Vallarta Botanical Gardens. It offers many sights for the horticulturist, or wanna be. A great restaurant is on site. It is just East of Boca.

• Adventurous Ziplining. Los Veranos Canopy has 18 ziplines. It is located near the Botanical Gardens and considered one of the best.
• Toes-in-the-sand or a little saltwater, restaurant munching at the edge of the bay, just down the Malecon from La Sirena. Nightlife is subdued, but fine dining can be had at two coastal locations.
• Horseback riding in the jungle or beach. A short trip north to Mismaloya will get you saddled up. Yelapa, only water accessible, is the farthest South Shore beach, also has riding, plus numerous restaurants and activities.
• Local markets. They are limited in selection, but they will provide all you need to fix some Chilaquiles or fresh fruit and Pan Dulce for breakfast in the kitchenettes. They have everything you need to pack that beach lunch as well.

• Day trip to Puerto Vallarta for shopping, dining and wandering the Romantic Zone. You will get to rub shoulders with all the tourists that you avoided by staying in Boca. PV is a fun beach town with cobblestone narrow roadways. The Romantic Zone offers excellent dining and shopping.
