We absolutely loved our stay in Alfama. This apartment was super cute (once we carried all 4 of our large suitcases up the spiral staircase, but this is all part of the Alfama charm!). The kitchen had everything we needed in terms of pots and utensils, and everything was cosy, clean and tidy. The location was perfect for us, and the view was beautiful. We stayed for 30 days and had the most wonderful time, we were sad to leave! :) Will definitely return!

Overall great spot and very charming home in the center of the touristy part of Lisbon. However, there is constants construction right outside the house that goes on from 8-5pm which make it not ideal if you are using this location to work remotely.

The terrace, which can be seen in the photo, is the terrace of the neighbors. Yes, the apartment has a terrace of 2 meters by 2 meters, in the best case, you are unlikely to want to spend time there. Some of the furniture in the living room and in the kitchen were in a terrible condition (those who manage the house saw this because they had met us for the check-in). The bathroom has a window but no curtain, so you can say hello to your neighbors right after your shower. We wrote that we were not satisfied with the quality of the accommodation, especially the disheveled street furniture in the living room was a little shocking. The owner offered a replacement. We refused to waste our time having someone do their job at the cost of our resources, but without our permission they still came and opened the door with their key, which is completely unacceptable. There's active construction just across the street
