We loved having our ladies weekend at The Timbers in Deerwood. The cabin is so cozy, clean and had everything we needed. We loved the variety of board games they had as the weather was a bit rainy so we entertained ourselves inside around the fireplace. We will definitely stay at The Timbers again!

This is the perfect place for an outdoor getaway in any season! The space is both cozy and spacious, and it is well-equipped for groups.

Our family spent MEA weekend at the Timbers and we had a wonderful time. The area and lake is beautiful and the fishing was great! The house was very clean and comfortable and is absolutely gorgeous. Jack was a wonderful and responsive host! We plan to return! Any season would be wonderful to enjoy the home and it’s surroundings.

Beautiful, serene setting for a wonderful cabin! A lot of family activities on site including fire pit, kayaks, paddleboards, corn hole, pool table, games, as well as toys and crafts for younger children. The area feels very private and the home was spacious enough to easily accommodate our entire family of 8 adults and 2 small children. The whole cabin was well stocked with all the basics necessities. Really the only negatives were steep steps down to the lake(we had a toddler and infant)and no beach area but we did know that from the host's description. Area restaurants had exceptional food(Iron Range Eatery was fabulous!) and there are many local biking trails. Great area lakes for pontoon cruising! Bay Lake Marine for boat rentals, is right in Deerwood and has very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Beautiful cabin, great location! Was a perfect setup for our extended family of all ages (2 to 72yrs old). Bedrooms layouts and plentiful bathrooms allowed everyone to have their own space even with a large group. The lower level was a lot of fun with the pool table and bar, leading out to the best fire-pit gathering space! We will be back!
