Just as advertised! We were looking for an idyllic location and didn't have too much to do in mind, and found Violetta's place perfect. Violetta was clear in all that came with the place and whatever didn't. There are some convenience stores within a 10-30 km distance of the place, but we didn't come across a full grocery store (for fresh ingredients) (which Violetta said nearest is Parry Sound), so make sure to bring those. Sudbury is just over an hour's drive away, so one can always visit there. We enjoyed having the canoe at our disposal. Do ensure to carry bug spray, however. The house itself kept bugs out pretty well provided you were careful entering and exiting, but outside is a different story when it is not sunny. Quite manageable with spray to repel mosquitoes and black flies though. It rained on half of our days there, but it wasn't a problem as we didn't have a plan in mind. All in all, the four of us and our beagle liked the place!

Cute cabin, gorgeous property, and the location is great in terms of proximity to parks. As the description says, be prepared! You’ll need to think ahead in terms of bedding, food, water, and firewood. Violetta was amazing at communicating with us and so nothing was unexpected. Really a wonderful host.
