Perfect place for relaxation! We were so in love with the garden and the fantastic view. Nice and friendly service as well. Clean and everything matched the pictures

I enjoyed swimming in the pool and relaxing in the huge garden under the shadow of the big palms. Every morning I took pleasure in the spectacular view to the Teide, the ocean, and the nice surroundings with lovely houses and villas. What I will remember best are the self-made sundowner cocktails and the outdoor barbecue area. So -  I‘ll be back.

This place is everything it's described to be and more and it's in a better microclimate than much of the north coast. It's a great vantage point for spectacular sunsets, too. One can even safely walk to the town centres of El Sauzal and Matanza. Stefan is a very prompt and clear communicator and he's provided comprehensive guides to the house and neighbourhood in several languages. Three of us were working remotely, and simultaneously, and attending a lot of meetings. The internet service at Villa Carioca was up to the task. One caveat: El Sauzal is a high end neighbourhood so it can be a target for people soliciting money. Our guard was down so we were bamboozled by a 'fisherman' collecting money for his daughter.
