Conveniently located in picturesque Myrtleford, next door to the Old Butter Factory, The Manager's Residence is a lovingly renovated Victorian property which has been in our family for over 40 years! Situated at your doorstep is the Historic Reform Hill along with the famous Murray to Mountains Rail Trail. The property features a bullnose verandah and all the modern facilities you need for an enjoyable stay, with 3 spacious guest rooms and large open plan living overlooking an outside deck. We are so proud to offer guests the opportunity to stay at The Manager's Residence! The house has been in our family for over 40 years and was originally the residence used by the Manager and his family from the Butter Factory (next door) and then in later years the Manager of the nearby Murray Goulburn store - a farm produce & dairy company. Our grandfather, Jack Bromilow was the proud Manager of Murray Goulburn for 25 years from 1971. Hence, the name of the property being 'The Manager's Residence', in honour of this tradition. We have recently completed a full renovation of the house and added a large kitchen, dining & living room, as well as the back deck and two car carport and storage shed for guests to enjoy. Under the beautiful bullnose verandah at the front of the property we have some outdoor seating where you can sit and watch the world go by! Further around the verandah to the side is a Weber BBQ and seating for guest use (BBQ utensils are kept in the kitchen). The main bedroom (Bedroom 1) situated at the front of the property includes a queen bed, ensuite (with easy access shower, toilet & vanity), electric split system for heating and cooling, ceiling fan and wardrobe with shelving and hanging space for your belongings. Bedroom 2, also situated at the front of the property also includes a queen size bed and features a wooden bed head lovingly made and restored from materials from the original house during it's recent renovations. It also includes a wall mounted Hisense 40 inch Smart television, electric split system for heating and cooling, ceiling fan, as well as a double wardrobe with ample shelving and hanging space. Bedroom 3 was previously the lounge/living room and has now been converted into a beautifully decorated queen size bedroom featuring the original fire place. This room also has a wardrobe with shelving and hanging space for your belongings, TCL 40 inch Android television, an electric split system for heating and cooling and a ceiling fan. The main bathroom includes a full bath and easy access shower and vanity with complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The fully equipped laundry includes a combination washer/dryer, sink, cupboard and shelving (an iron, ironing board, indoor clothes airer and washing powder is supplied for your use). There is also a separate toilet located close to the laundry and main bathroom with it's own basin & mirror. The hallway flooring and walls have been restored to keep the original Victorian charm of the property. From the hallway, 3 steps lead up to the new addition of a large open plan kitchen, dining and living room, which over looks the back yard and deck. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven and cooktop, microwave, coffee machine dishwasher and refrigerator with a water dispenser. There is a large dining table which easily seats 8 guests. Or you can relax and unwind in the loungeroom on either the L shaped lounge or 3 seater couch while watching the latest news or your favourite flick on the Hisense 70 inch LED Smart TV. Large double doors open from the living area out onto the back deck, where we have an outdoor setting with bench seats for you to sit back enjoy a drink & nibbles, read a book or just relax with family & friends! The brick steps and planter boxes leading from the deck to the back yard were made out of the original red bricks from the chimney in the house. We have also recently completed some paving and a grapevine structure at the back of the deck for guests to enjoy.
