Doreen’s place is absolutely beautiful. The house is exactly how it’s described. Pictures are accurate. The handbook is quite descriptive and Doreen is very quick at responding. Our stay was amazing.

An absolutely beautiful place! Nestled among towering hemlocks, with amazing views out of every window. The cottage itself was perfect for our crew! Despite the snow storm we were able to enjoy the froze lake. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Thanks for an amazing weekend that the kids (and adult) will remember for a lifetime.

Our family had a great stay at Doreen's house on the lake. The big kitchen windows provided a great view of the lake and sunset, and the kitchen had everything needed to cook for our large family. Arrowhead Park was a short drive away, and we were able to x country ski before the weather turned mild. Limberlost Forest and Widlife reserve is also very close and has some great hiking around a series of lakes, suitable for all skill levels. At the end of the day we enjoyed lounging by the fireplace in the living room. Who needs to go south when you have a place like this?

Excellent experience. Second time there was just as good if not better than last time. Clean, comfortable, looks just like the pictures. Doreen and others are very responsive and helpful. Close to hidden valley ski.

We loved our stay! The house was beautiful and cozy as well as fully stocked with everything you could need during your stay! We stayed with some infants and the house was equipped with a travel bassinet, highchair & toddler friendly dinnerware! All of which we appreciated not having to travel with. Highly recommend!
