Cute place, decent location to the park, dirtier than expected - the pool definitely had not been cleaned in some time, the floors were pretty dusty and under the beds were really dusty, causing us to all have allergy issues in bed.

House was nice and spacious, very clean and the rooms were nice, game room was great and we enjoyed it . Don’t know if heating the pool was worth the extra 100$ per night. Also the house is right off the street and even with the gate,at night when swimming it didn’t feel like much privacy. I would say that is the only down side but something I would have wanted to know before booking.

The place was exactly as described and the pictures were accurate. The location is perfect to visit Joshua Tree, 8 min to the North entrance and 12 min to the West entrance. I recommend going to the west entrance for any star gazing and the north entrance for the bouldering, the whole north of the park trails are ~20-30min from the house. It was right in downtown 29palms, and there was food and 2 large grocery stores 3 min drive from the house. The house had a nice pool and hot tub. It was very clean and had a bunch of supplies for coffee, dishes, bowls, etc. There was a game room in the garage with a pac man game, ping pong and foosball, which my kids I played in for a few hours. This type of place is exactly what Airbnb is supposed to be, fun clean vacation home with lots to do nearby and close to the park for quick excursions or longer day trips.

Great location for accessing Joshua Tree NP. Enjoyed the hot tub! Plenty of space.
