Clean hotel, with walk in kitchen, nice location. There was a lady later in at the reception who was really nice. Now, i was given a room street floor and they have no windows. I cannot sleep in room with no windows plus I could hear everything in the neighbors' back yard just like if they were in the bedroom. Fortunately the AC covered the noise and talks. My room was getting the light from the hallway ( little covered window in hallway) and it was so bright that I could have read lights out. Good, because i did not have night stand lamps so to switch the light off you have to walk to the door. The boats leave at 7 so we have to leave the hotel by 6:15, and the reception was closed so with another guest, we did not know what to do... they have a phone number to call but most of us don't have service or expensive . I hope the second floor is better.

Communication was basically non-existent. Upon arrival, about 15 minutes after booking the room, there was no one to be found in the reception or the general hotel area. After about 20 minutes, a very kind lady showed up to open the room to us. The room was appropriate for the price paid. Quite small and dated and a lot of noise at night though! It was situated on the ground floor. The most upsetting part of our stay was the sudden attempt to raise our price by the host. About 5 hours after checking in, we received a question through AirBnB to pay an extra 30 usd (more than doubling the price). No explanation was provided. We denied, after which we heard nothing from the host. A very strange incident that made us uncomfortable for the rest of our stay.
