Robert’s house was such a beautiful place to stay. The description and pictures don’t do justice. It was such a peaceful place to relax in. Everything you needed was right there at the house. The river, and the pathway kept us busy for hours! I wish we could have stayed here for a month! Selfishly, I don’t want anyone to find this place because I want it to be available when I go back! Of course I have already recommended it to all of my family and friends because it really is so beautiful!

Amazing a beautiful home! Was perfect and had everything we needed to keep our children entertained while my fiancé and I attended a wedding. Very peaceful. Lovely and helpful host! Highly recommend this place!

We loved our stay at “The Big House”!! The very tastefully restored historic house and adjacent barn were so interesting to explore and read about in materials in the house. The space was very comfortable and was so beautifully and thoughtfully appointed. We’ve stayed at a ton of Airbnbs and we always say “if WE had an Airbnb we would have this, and this and that and this….” Well this place had everything we could think of! The location was beautiful and quiet and close to skiing, restaurants, hiking etc. The sledding hill in the back yard was huge hit. We definitely hope to return in the warm season to take advantage of the river, fire pit, etc. Thanks Robert and Ellen for sharing such a great spot!

This quaint upstairs apartment was the perfect spot for a winter weekend in the New Hampshire mountains. We felt very cozy every evening after exploring the beautiful scenery each day, very warm and peaceful and inviting. We may return for a summer visit !

By far one of if not the best AirBnbs that we’ve stayed in! The home is cozy and spacious. The hosts were so thoughtful. We loved relaxing in the sun-drenched front living room, playing games from the well-stocked game cabinet, and admiring the eclectic decor. 10/10 would stay here again.
