Our host, Takeshi was the most graceful host we could have asked for. The house itself was amazingly clean and tidy. The beds were very comfortable despite what we thought about sleeping on the floor mats it was very comfortable. The heating In the house was very good and the shower/tub was awesome. Everything about this stay was amazing. The heated toilet was a nice plus. As far as the scenery goes it can’t be matched anywhere else in the world the beach was a 30 second walk from the front door and it’s basically a private beach I didn’t see anyone out there with me in the 4-5 hours I spent on the beach during our stay. We had an accident on our trip and some of our guests had to stay in another town (tottori) but taking a train would have been a hassle so takeshi offered to take them in his bus. He went out of his way to make us feel at home and a part of the community it was truly a gift to stay at this home. I would recommend to anyone. Thank you to our gracious hosts.

This is a very peaceful place in a beautiful fishing town. While you won’t see the ocean from the house you are so close for a walk or a swim. The house is old Showa era as described but has tons of space, Wi-Fi and a kitchen to cook in. We visited during hot and humid conditions and we easily got the spaces comfortable with the air-con units. We enjoyed running along the ocean, watching the sunset by walking two minutes and doing a SUP tour 5 minutes away.

It’s a pretty good trip with this house. The host are so nice to pick up us from station or send us to somewhere, even helps us to prepare cake for birthday party. We are so appreciated of this. The house is big enough for 8 people and it’s very clean. All equipments are good using. The sunrise and beach just near the house are so pretty. We hope to come back again.

I can't say enough about how great the hosts were. Super friendly and offered to drive us to and from the station or nearby attractions. Replied to messages very quickly. Were helpful when I couldn't understand the Japanese. Just very genuine and warm people. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely be back. Only negative thing to mention is there were no kitchen knives (like for buttering toast) But everything else was great!!
