A great stay in a lovely location. This was a very relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle. Frederique and Mario were welcoming and friendly, and gave some great suggestions of places to visit. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

Excellent petit séjour passé chez Frédérique et son mari. Le studio au charme éclectique est propre, confortable et suffisamment équipé, le linge sens bon le frais. Nous avons pu profiter de la belle terrasse sur le devant, privée sans être isolée. Un magnifique jardin qui nous a fait voyager avec ses palmiers, bananiers, et ses décos. La piscine était parfaite avec ses 30 degrés... Nous avons aussi pu partager un bon moment avec nos hôtes et leur famille autour d'une préparation de paella maison qui était d'ailleurs délicieuse... Frédérique est ouverte et disponible pour nous faire connaître les bons plans de la région... Au top :-) Parfait pour un séjour reposant & sportif

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et recommandons ce logement. Idéal pour faire des balades à vélo et/ou en forêt de Fontainebleau. Merci !

As you arrive, you are met by your host, Frederique, and she walks you through the apartment and briefs you all the amenities. The apartment is very clean and tidy with one double bed plus one single mattress (on floor). The kitchen was well equipped with a large fridge (no freezer) however no oven or toaster because of mishandling by previous guests. Don’t worry, you will have everything you need to prepare your meals. Note: French baguette and cheese require no work;-) Frederique and her partner are keen gardeners and have travelled extensively. You will enjoy sitting out under the gazebo and admiring the exotic surroundings. The pool is also very inviting. Our hosts were present and enjoyable to speak but also respectful of your privacy. The place was extremely quiet with nothing to disturb us except some roosters in the distance. It is a great place to recover from jetlag or just de-stress. The location near Melun makes it easy to reach the Fontainebleau forests renowned for walking (randonnées), rock climbing and its Chateau. Also close by is the gorgeous village of Barbizon, home to a number of impressionist painters and a short drive away is the Chateau de Vaux-le-Vicomte. Merci for a wonderful séjour.
