Take Hakone Tozan Bus from Odawara Station, which will take about 40 minutes. You will have a wonderful view of Hakone along the way. Get off at "Miyaginobashi" bus stop, then walk about 6 minutes to get to Asante Inn.

◆The Famous and Popular Hakone Round Course!◆
⦿ Ride to Gora station using our free shuttle. From Gora station, take the Hakone Tozan Cable Car up the mountain to Sounzan station. Then, ride the Hakone Ropeway to Owakudani station and enjoy the sights of the volcano and gift shops. When you're done, ride the Hakone Ropeway to Togendai station and ride the Hakone Ashinoko Boat Cruise to Moto Hakone-ko station. Once you arrive, walk or ride the bus to the famous Hakone Shrine and take a picture at the Torii gate on the lake. Once you're done, you can come back to the inn by public bus!

- Walk the old Tokaido road and checkpoint at Moto Hakone, an ancient path and traffic control area that samurai once tread during the Edo Period!

- Hakone Yuryo (for a variety of traditional onsen experiences of your choice) about 30 minutes from Asante Inn by bus.
- Hotel Kowakien Yunessun (with both traditional and waterpark style public baths, including baths themed around green tea, wine, sake, and coffee). We recommend this public onsen for families with kids, or those who are less partial to bathing in the nude! About 20 minutes from Asante Inn by bus.
- Taikouyu, a small and unassuming traditional Japanese onsen experience for those who prefer small, relaxing baths. About 10 minutes from Asante Inn by bus.
⦿ Hakone Open-Air Museum, an outdoor art museum boasting displays of abstract sculptures, stained glass, and a section dedicated to the early works of world-renowned artist Picasso. About 30 minutes from Asante Inn by bus.
⦿ Hakone Glass no Mori (Forest of Glass) Museum, a museum and garden celebrating the use of Venetian glass. About 15 minutes from Asante Inn by bus.
◆Climbing/Hiking Course◆
⦿ Mt. Myoujougatake「明星岳」, 924 meters above sea level. It takes about 10 minutes from the Asante Annex to the base of the mountain. Fresh air and big trees which block out the sun make climbing the mountain comfortable, even in the summer. If you reach the peak of the mountain, you will be rewarded with sights of small, quaint villages and a beautiful view of the city down below. It takes 60 minutes to climb to the top.
⦿ Mt. Myoujingatake 「明神岳」, 1,169 meters above sea level. You can climb to it from the top of Mt. Myoujougatake. You will have a wonderful view of Mt. Fuji if you reach this peak. It takes 90 minutes to climb to the top.
⦿ The round climbing course takes about 5 hours, which accounts for the climb from the Asante Annex to Mt. Myoujougatake, the trail from the top of Mt. Myoujougatake to the top of Mt. Myoujingatak, and the return trip. We recommend this course to those who are fond of climbing and hiking.
