There are fantastic views of the surrounding mountains and a great patio. We spent most of our time out on the patio while we were there, and it was definitely worth it—great amenities and instructions from the host.

Like others and the host have mentioned, a 4x4 is a must! Our Ram 1500 made it up just fine in 4x4. The house was very clean despite it being pet friendly (usually we expect to see some hair, signs of pets, etc., but we did not see any signs here). The outdoor fire place was a hot spot for us during the chilly nights there. We did have one issue with the neighbor letting his dog loose to roam around(came up to the AirBnB), which after Houston reached out to the neighbor, was resolved with no further issues during the stay. Overall a great place, and fun little town to visit. Houston’s playbook provided was a huge help! The only critique I have is the living room couch was not comfortable to relax and watch tv on.

If you are looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and quiet getaway, Houston’s property is a must! Pictures of the view do not do it justice. The mountains surrounding the house are absolutely gorgeous. You can see this incredible view not only from the deck, but also from inside the house because of the full sliding glass doors. The kitchen was equipped with almost anything you would need! There were a wide range of coffee add-ins, basic spices, plates, utensils, and small appliances to use. Our 2 small dogs felt right at home due to the pet-friendly environment. As a side note, there were 2 dog bowls that were adorable! The very end of the drive was quite steep and a bit rutted/rough due to a recent storm. However, our Jeep had no problem getting up the road! Thank you for a relaxing weekend!

My husband and I absolutely LOVED this home. The views are amazing! It’s peaceful and quiet and my husband loved drinking his coffee on the porch every morning! We saw a bear crossing the path up to the house on our first night! We brought our pittie Dixie and she had a blast as well. You can definitely tell pets are allowed in the home, but there was no bad smell or stains anywhere, just leftover hair in places that may be forgotten. A few things to note: If you sleep with a fan, bring one. (I couldn’t find one in the home) The pillows are a little flat so maybe bring your own. The mattress upstairs if FIRM. Other than that everything was PERFECT. We hope to bring our whole family back one day soon!
