Upstairs loft space behind and above a medical/therapy practice. Most of the practitioners will be on leave, but some therapists may see clients during working hours. Situated in the centre of George, easy access to golf courses, beaches, walking and cycling trails. Drive 14 km (17 mins) to Wilderness beach front; 10 km (14 mins) to Victoria Bay; 5 Km (8 min) drive to Garden Route Mall. Walking distance to grocery stores, coffee shops and restaurants.

This is what AirBnb is all about: living in a much-loved home. Katie's Tree Top Loft is a unique space and suited me too a tee. On arrival there was a beautiful handmade welcome card, gorgeous bottle of wine, and a handy guide to staying in the loft. The loft offered all the conveniences that I required: privacy, wifi, laundry facilities and a robust kitchen with several ways to make a perfect cup of coffee :) An added bonus was the Bayleaf Cafe (about 20 steps to the right) where I enjoyed a scrumptious breakfast every morning. The security systems allowed me to relax whilst I was at home and when I was out and about. The alarm system triggered a few times. However, Kate and Richard emphasized that it should not distract me from enjoying my vacation. The security response was swift and I didn't have to attend to the premises when I wasn't close to the loft. I felt fortunate to have stayed there for a week and would love to rent Kate and Richard's lovely loft again next year ;)
Wow, what a lovely spot to use as a base to explore George and the surrounds! The loft is unique and beautifully put together, and Kate is a generous and gracious host who made sure we had everything we could need and more. Highly recommended!
We were so pleased and grateful that we discovered this gem on AirBnB for our 8 day break-away over Christmas. We loved the huge glass-walls on both ends of the loft, letting in a lot of natural light and sun, and with the bamboo on one side and the big old fig tree on the other side, it gave one a wonderful tree-top feeling. Chameleons, small lizards and plenty of birdlife added much enjoyment to our stay. Kate thought of everything! There was not a thing I looked for, that she has not made provision for. I loved that we could collect fresh produce from her vegetable garden. All this made for a very special, pleasant and comfortable stay. The Loft is very central, with Woolworths, PnP and Checkers within walking distance - a great bonus. There is also plenty of nice Cafe's and restaurants within a 3km range. Your host is gracious, an excellent communicator and she made our whole experience one that we will remember for a long time. We loved our time there!! It felt like home away from home.

We live in a residential/commercial area in the centre of George. There are schools, small businesses, restaurants and residential homes. We have residents on most sides of us and offices on one side. One of our neighbours runs an accommodation business from his home. During weekends and holidays it is generally a very restful neighbourhood, with the sound of birds and occasionally the happy sounds of our neighbours. We are within walking distance to shops, restaurants, laundromat, fast food places, bars and more.
