I rented Manuel's place based upon the many 5-star reviews from other guests. Unfortunately for me, the apartment didn't live up to my expectations based upon the stellar reviews and the $91 nightly rate (after cleaning and Airbnb fees). Yes, the location is good, being situated just across the street from Libreville's beach and some of the city's best restaurants, but the problem is that the apartment is old and has had only minimal updates. Neither the bathroom nor the kitchen have been modernized and both have deferred maintenance issues (e.g., a new stove and shower head are needed). Other problems include a TV that doesn't appear to work (Wi-Fi wouldn't connect), pots, pans, and utensils that need to be replaced, a broken couch, a toilet that bellows when flushed and no building generator for Libreville's frequent blackouts. Finally, for a week-long stay, I received 3/4 roll of toilet paper, 3 matches for the gas stove and no dish rags. Disappointing at the price I paid.

Hi - I had an excellent experience overall, would stay here again next time without question. Everything was pretty good, the place is clean and has nice utilities such as fridge and a microwave and a laundry machine. The bathroom was very clean as well. Manuel was great host, always responsive and proactive.

J’ai passé un agréable séjour chez Manuel. La house est facilement accessible et parfaitement située, en plein de bord de mer avec plusieurs restaurants et boutiques à proximité.
