We had an amazing stay here. It was so peaceful and you cannot beat the location. Jon is kind and incredibly helpful. I got sunburnt and he hand delivered fresh aloe to our door that night. Will definitely be back!

I absolutely loved my stay at this Airbnb. The location is AMAZING, the apartment was spotless, the views were spectacular. I VERY much enjoyed being away from the tourist area and hustle-bustle. You'll want a rental car if you stay this far out so you have better access to the beaches around the island. My only issue at all was communication with the host. Example: I communicated with the host ahead of time that I was traveling with my niece and absolutely needed 2 beds in our accommodation. Having heard nothing back, I assumed we were set. On arrival, our apartment had 1 bed and the pull out sofa didn't have linens so my niece slept on the sofa not pulled out. We had a few other communication glitches along the way as well. We made it work, and again, both of us would stay at this location again hands down. The issues we had were, for us, relatively minor and the pros of the location, the cleanliness and the views far outweigh any issues we had. Loved our trip very much!

The place is right on the beach. The main attraction is the beach with crystal clear water and not a touristy spot. The place is exactly as pictured. We had a great time.

We had an amazing stay at Bella Horizontale! We are so very glad that we did not stay in the overcrowded tourist area. A stunning blue water view and is literally right across the street from Mangel Halto Beach. But what truly made this area so special was the amazing people we met during our stay, and the experiences that never would have happened at a large hotel. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with all we needed for our stay. It was a bit hard to find and took us a while to get in the swing of how things work, but here are some tips for you. 1) The street on navigation apps is "Spaans Lagoon", NOT "Lagoenweg" which is a street in Orjastaad and not "Spaans Lagoenweg" which wasn't an option at all. 2) John (apartment manager?) is awesome and will help you with whatever you need. Go on a clear kayak trip with him, or rent snorkel equipment ($25). 3) Have dinner (by reservation) at La Tavola by Anate right on the next street. It was a truly special meal and experience!

We didnt want to be on the busy end of the island. This spot was perfect! Quieter with plenty to do. 10 minutes from the airport. Our A/C unit in the bedroom stopped working but they brought us a fan, since it was the weekend & they couldn't call in service. Loved her recommendations for restaurants & taxi driver. We would stay again.
