Robert is an amazing host. Super friendly and accommodating. He had home roasted coffee beans for our use Had all the information you could need on the area from local eateries to things to do. Is very involved in the community. If we went anywhere and mentioned that we were staying at his Airbnb people would have nothing but good things to say about him. Definitely want to stay here any time I'm in the area. Best host I've ever had.

Robert was an amazing host. We arrived very late and he was up and ready for us with his great dog Blue. Robert was very attentive and answered any questions we had with such friendliness. The home was even more spacious than we thought and everything was perfect. Robert even set out a bottle of wine, some fresh coffee and cold beer and water in the fridge. We had a great time chatting with him, and Blue was a wonderful companion.

I like to find unique places to stay, and Robert's place fit the bill. Five of us stayed there two nights during our Ladie's Trip and found the place to be well-stocked and roomy. Robert stays in a camper on the property and gives you a walk-through of the home when you arrive and is readily available if you need anything or want local suggestions. It is pretty dark (the whole town) which is great for stargazing, but the property also has lights available as needed. I would stay again if ever in the area.

Exactly as described, and Robert was a great host. He stays on site in his camper…and is avail for any questions or for some local recommendations. His dog Blue was a hit with my girls. Had never been to Marathon before. A good central location if doing Big Bend and then things North (observatory, Balmorhea). Just be aware of the limited dining options and operating hours and plan accordingly.
