Heidi's place will forever be the Airbnb where my family and I experience the 2024 Total Eclipse. The view and the sounds were very serene all day long, but especially at sunrise and sunset. I had a great time just walking around the farm and taking everything in, while Tobi -the friendliest dog- followed my son and I. The playset and massive swing are great for kids. The beds were super comfortable, and the rooms were especially dark at night, providing us with some of the deepest sleep in a while. During the day there were plenty of things to go and go to within a short drive. Batesville has great food(Meme's burger was insanely delish). And then you have great fishing and hiking in Allison and Calico. Heidi was such a welcoming host and is one of the kindest people I've crossed paths with. I highly recommend this place.

We were in town for a night to run a half marathon. Found the place to be as the listing described, very clean, lots of linens, responsive host. This was not an issue for us but lots of taxidermy animals if you are not into that sort of thing. Comfy beds, large space, well stocked kitchen for cooking if needed. The property had large pool, areas to walk, and fishing ponds but we did not use those amenities due to the time of year and one night stay.

This was by far more than I expected. I was just in awe at the surroundings.. The property is just amazingly beautiful. I was greeted by the sweetest pup who walked me to the door. The inside was clean and very comfortable. I felt right at home. I wish that I was staying there on vacation instead of work. I would have loved to had the chance to walk the grounds and play with the dog. It was extremely quiet and you would never know anyone was living above the apartment. I have already told my husband we would be going back for a weekend get away in the future.
