The apartment is spacious, clean and secure. The accommodation is in a good neighborhood and there is a useful mini-market below the apartment. The host is very helpful and responded promptly to any requests. It is accessible to various stores and restaurants, one taxi ride to tourists area, Senegambia. I will stay there again.

The place was dirty and basic amenities were not included. To be fair, they mention that you have to buy electricity, but this is not common in The Gambia. Other than that it was fine.

I didn't actually stay in the property - I booked it for a friend and only visited a couple of times but from what I saw the apartment was comfortable, had everything you needed to get a good night's sleep and a lounge with a TV to relax in. There was bedding but no towels or toiletries, there was a cooker and fridge but no basic supplies - if you wanted to cook you would have to go out and buy everything first but there is a small shop below the apartment so you wouldn't have to go very far. I think after receiving a message from the owner, the lack of towels was actually a mistake and they should have been present. Security was good - you have to go through two lockable metal gates just to get to the property's entrance metal door but there's no night watchman. As usual with Gambian rentals, you have to supply your own toilet rolls, toiletries, buy electricity credit, etc but for the price this place was amazing value and provided a good level of comfort about a 10 to 15 minute walk away from Turntable. I would definitely consider staying there myself.
