This was a last minute find at the end of our trip. The kids (27yo and 29yo) wanted countryside and sheep, and this was the perfect find! We couldn't have asked for better! There's even a small Irish craft shop on premises with TRULY local made items. This is a true working farm and as it was lambing season we could watch them play around right from the windows, all with Newgrange in the background! The cottage was clean, comfortable and a short drive from town. We got a lot of walking done as we took Alison's advice and went up to Dowth (we didn't have tickets for Newgrange) and we also walked the nearby canal trail each evening before sunset- it was simply incredible! Especially if you love birding and nature. I highly recommend staying here if you want to truly be in nature and all the beauty Ireland possesses! And if you want to go to Newgrange it's very close!

Loved Pat and Alison's home. View of Newgrange and surrounded by cute animals! My family and I started the day right by petting a sweet baby goat this morning, awww!

Pat and Alison’s farm was so ideal as we were attending a wedding in Ballymagarvey. Their cottage and it’s surrounds were beautiful.

Incredible location next to Brú na Boínne / Newgrange. It was very comfortable and we slept well. Wonderful to be on a working farm. We recommend it!
