Acogedora casa rural, rodeada de naturaleza y animales al aire libre. Los anfitriones, muy amables, nos resolvieron todas las dudas y nos dieron varias recomedaciones de sitios para conocer. La piscina un lujo. Hay pueblo cercano con todos los servicios necesarios y está a poco tiempo de la zona turística del valle de la Dordoña.

Ruim verblijf op heerlijk rustige locatie. Op het terrein lopen kippen, 2 geiten en 2 ezels. Heel leuk! Behulpzame eigenaren, zeer vrolijk en vriendelijk. Fijn zwembad met ligbedden en attributen voor in het water. Ideale plek voor gezinnen met jonge kinderen.

We have managed to spend a wonderful, enjoyable relaxing week break. This was the first time we have been away during the autumn half term with our kids. We know the area very well as we usually stay nearby in Marminiac. So Salviac was perfect. The weather was perfect and warm and we have been quite lucky to have enjoyed it throughout our stay as it is not usually this warm and dry. We were even able to enjoy eating dinner outside on the terrace in the evenings and have a couple of barbi-qs. Our kids really enjoyed their stay and really made good use of the table-tennis and the badminton kit. We all had very competitive games of boule/petanque. We loved seeing the chickens casually roaming around and got quite attached to them as well as the donkeys and goats. We had no set itinerary but managed to visit and re-visit some places and catch up with friends. I recommend (despite the name) Cafe Bikini in Salviac, the food was really lovely and the service was good. The price is very reasonable. Cecile and Stephane were very friendly and welcoming hosts. Right from the time we booked the gite all through to the time we arrived. They were very accommodating, supportive and it was really nice talking at length with them whilst feeding their donkeys and animals and on other occasions. We managed to communicate ok despite our French being rather rusty. Both Cecile and Stephane were very down to earth and very easy to get on with. However, that has spurred us on to making a concerted effort to learn French properly as we spend a lot of time in France. The gite was lovely, really clean and really comfortable. Well laid out. The bedrooms were both a very good size. The beds were comfortable and the main bedroom had a lovely view. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was really nice with good hot water. The gardens were very well kept with lovely views across the countryside and we especially liked the bench perfectly positioned to enjoy that view with a glass of wine. Unfortunately the pool was closed as it is usually much cooler at this time of the year. I regret not bringing my road bike this time as I just wanted to chill, relax with the family and read a book but next time the bike will be the first thing to be packed. :) Perfect stay to recharge batteries and to get away from work.

Si vous aimez la nature, le calme, une belle vue et les belles ptites poulettes ce logement est fait pour vous. Cécile et Stéphane sont au petit soin en plus d'être très sympa. merci pour leur attention de nous avoir livré des haricots vert, betteraves et œufs trop bon. la région est magnifique, il y a plein d'activités à faire et la piscine est superbe. au plaisirs de revenir.

Séjour agréable ! Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et la maison est bien équipée. La vue depuis la maison est très appréciable.
