The house itself was nice and was spacious enough for our family. While it was tidy at first glance, it was not very clean. We found dirty dishes in the dishwasher. A spoon in the dishwasher must have been there for quite some time because it was covered in fuzzy mold. There was a dirty pan on the stove top with food remnants on the cook top as well. In the bathroom, there were what appeared to be urine and dust on the toilet paper fixture. We were also greeted by a used cotton swab on the night stand. I reached out to the host via a message through this platform to address the cleanliness issue and they never responded. We ended up cleaning ourselves so that we could enjoy the rest of our stay. I would have rated it higher if the host had cared enough to respond to my concern but that was not our experience unfortunately.

Home was NOT clean! All linens on bed had bodily fluids from previous renters, so gross. Had to clean all sheets ourself! Bathrooms had moldy shower curtains. Toilet tank was loose, could have caused flooding. Shower drain clogged with hair, had to buy and use draino to fix Drafty, old windows. Electrical plugs, all are old and out of date, plugs fall out easily. There was no hand soap. We message the host, and they lied about dropping off 1st time. When they drop off second time, they gave us mouth wash and body soap. Had to go buy hand soap Cracks in all rooms, on walls and ceiling. Should caulk all cracks, possible entry point for pests. On side of house, cut tree limbs and shrubbery, just left out. Kitchen, wood floors not install correctly. Got pinched by opening between gap in two floor boards. Microwave plate did not turn. Dishwasher is a health hazard, Smells like mold. Dishes were dirty. Curtains for pantry is fire hazard, too close to stove, could catch fire
