Kara's place was wonderful. It is a cargo container that has been converted into a very modern and comfortable one bedroom apartment. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen small but had enough equipment to make pasta, the bathroom was clean and had plenty of water pressure, and the heating and A/C worked well. Kara's place is located at the edge of a ranch on the top of a hill. The setting is beautiful and private. There is even an outdoor shower at the back of the building and I felt completely comfortable using it because there are no near neighbors on that side of the property. As advertised, there is no wifi, which is exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend Kara's place. It was perfect for my wife and I to have a calm relaxing getaway while also being able to visit friends in both Palm Springs and Riverside.
