The apartment is nice and was perfect for our short trip to Bologna. Please read the additional rules, know the fines are strictly enforced. Our experience was soured after checkout by passive aggressive messages from Francesca/screenshots from cleaning staff. After showering, it seems one of us left makeup on a towel, Francesca implied it might have been worse than makeup. We apologized as we did not intentionally soil the towels or use them directly to remove makeup. I overlooked the soap- we left mugs in the sink as we were rushing to catch a train. We were charged an additional cleaning fee, which is fair, but also the cost of new towels before they were washed/assessed. I apologized but I wish she had more respect as confronting guests over dirty towels is highly personal. I would rate 5 out of 5 stars if not for the passive aggressive communication from Francesca which we ultimately sorted out through a "damage fine" and my insistence to not argue, apologize, and move forward.

We stayed for three nights at Francesca’s place and we absolutely enjoyed it! The place is stunning and very cozy. We felt at home right away. You can find everything you need. The surroundings are quiet and felt safe. Francesca is a really good host communication was super easy and fast and she gave us a lot of recommendations which we highly appreciated. It’s about a 15 minute walk to get to the city centre so everything is reachable by foot. All in all it was a very pleasant experience and I can only recommend it.

Absolutely stunning apartment!! Comfy bed, close to town and had everything that you need. We didn’t want to leave! Great host, great communication and easy check-in!
