The property was beautifully furnished and in a very convenient location, near a busy high street with lots of cafes/restaurants and only a few minutes from the tube station. Check-in was a very easy process and the host Maria, although based in LA, was generally available to answer questions on Airbnb messaging service. I feel others should be aware that there is a £400 security deposit that the host requires on top of the Airbnb payment, outside of the Airbnb platform, which is returned on check out. The property unfortunately wasn't suitable for us, so we checked out after one night after we'd found a suitable last minute alternative. The place hadn't been cleaned to the "enhanced cleaning" standards set out in the ad - the floor was still dirty and felt dirty on bare feet (we were requested not to wear shoes) and my toddler nearly stepped on a shard of glass. The bed had hairs in it, and one of the spotlights over the bed was hanging down rather than fitted back into the ceiling. The fire alarm was also missing from its holder in the centre of the ceiling. The host did offer to send the cleaners round the next day but there wasn't any point as by that point I'd cleaned the floors myself and changed the sheets etc. It was claimed the fire alarm was in the cupboard but I couldn't find it. We also found the property quite stuffy - it hadn't been too hot that day, only about 20 degrees C with a breeze, yet even with the windows open at night and the fan (that was provided) going it was still quite stifling. I'm disappointed it didn't work out for us but perhaps it's somewhere that will suit others better.

The apartment is just like the photos it a nice, chic style. The bedroom is a lovely little space, it has a calming vibe. Loved the crystals around the apartment. Check in and out is so easy and Maria was very helpful with directions when I couldn't find the exact location to begin with. Highly recommended.

Maria was a great host, Comms were excellent and the process was very simple, the place is amazing!
