Wonderful home, and great hosts. We were very comfortable in our stay and would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, cozy getaway.

Gorgeous river view and the cabin was very comfortable and the perfect space for me, my son, and dog. We loved exploring the river, eating outside and enjoying the fire pit at night. I'm an avid cook and luckily checked in with Aimee before coming and she said the kitchen was very basic. If you're hoping to cook here, definitely try to food prep at home and bring your own spices, oil olive, etc (I brought my blender, muffin tons, and improvised by using a wine bottle for a rolling pin). As mentioned in the listing a train track is right by the place, that didn't really bother us, but there is quite a bit of road noise from hwy 2. I'm a pretty light sleeper, and slept well thanks to a box fan in the room for white noise and my ear plugs. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed hiking to Wallace Lake and Wallace Falls.

The cabin was great, great views of the river. A bit noisy with the train tracks and traffic very close by. Cute place. Kitchen well equipped except pots and pans could use some replacements.

This cabin is an absolute gem. I’m starting this review while I’m here, that’s how strongly I feel about it. I’m sitting on the deck, staring at the river with a backdrop of trees and snowy mountains. You know how people can take “funky” pictures so things like views or size looks better than it is? That is NOT this place. It’s better than the pics. I immediately checked to see if we could stay another night LOL. The common areas are open and have everything you might want: cook a meal, get comfy in the living room, or have a nice dinner at the table. The bedroom and bathroom are out of the way and extremely private. I heard the train a couple times and it just added to the woodsy vibe; certainly didn’t wake me up or anything. Also, the host is super transparent about the proximity to transit systems, so to the reviews that knocked a star off - doesn’t really seem fair. I recommended this place to several friends and family members - I hope to be back! Thank you so much Aimee!!

This cabin is super cozy and the location is SPECTACULAR. Seriously, the most beautiful views you can hope for. My only complaints are that the shower kind of sucks (it’s quite small and the water doesn’t get very hot) and the TV doesn’t work very well. But the heating worked splendidly, as did the kitchen (though I wouldn’t recommend doing anything elaborate in there). Pro tip for future guests: I had to unplug and re-plug-in the TV every time I wanted to use it, otherwise it wouldn’t turn on.
