We had a good stay at Jean Jacques's. Great location in a historic house . Only a few minutes walk to the cathedral and the restaurants. Free ,secure parking on site.

Das Zimmer unterm Dach ist schön geräumig und gemütlich. Das Beste ist der tolle Blick vom Doppelbett durch das Dachfenster direkt auf die Kathedrale. Jean-Jaques ist äußerst zuvorkommend, sehr freundlich, gibt gute Tipps für die Umgebung und sein historisches Haus ist sehr interessant. Der Garten im Innenhof ist wunderschön ruhig und morgens gibt es ein herrliches Frühstück mit leckerem französischem Gebäck. Laon ist ein wirklich sehr nettes mittelalterliches Städtchen, durch das man schlendern kann und die Einwohner sind sehr freundlich.

Excellent in all regards. Superb location right in the centre of Laon, so plenty of places to eat and many historic places to visit. Visitors information office a few minutes walk away. The host is very welcoming and kind. He has loads of useful information on things to do. We only stayed one night as a stop over but it would also be excellent for longer stays. We stayed in top floor bedroom in vaulted ceiling (loft type) room with ensuite which was very clean with an excellent shower. This room has lots of beds if required. Room accessed up lovely winding wooden staircase perfectly fine for most. Host provided an excellent breakfeast in the morning at a pre-agreed time that suited him and us. Cereal, bread, pastries and more, very good. Sat nav directions accurate on address provided, drove some lovely cobbled streets through Laon then secure parking in a small courtyard, with the host closing and locking the gate over night. Host was kindly in attendance to assist.
