John's place was exactly as pictured, offering a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Both John and Ania were prompt in their responses, adding to the ease of our stay. The location is ideal for experiencing the unique lifestyle of Brooklyn, while also providing convenient access to Manhattan. The area is surrounded by many supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, and attractions. Would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit.

John's apartment was a perfect place to stay. This 3rd-floor walk-up apartment was a quiet and comfortable space, coordinated with a soothing blue color and wood-grained furniture. The kitchen was small but well-equipped. The window next to the dining table overlooked the streets of Brooklyn through the autumn leaves, making this dining space very cozy. The living room was much roomier than in the photo. The sunny bathroom was spacious and clean. The apartment had a radiator, which kept the apartment at perfect temperature, which was a new experience for me. John and his wife were very gracious hosts. We would love to stay again when we are in Brooklyn. Thank you very much for hosting us.

As ex New Yorkers, we chose this location because we were familiar with the surroundings, and how easy it was to access, restaurants subway, and attractions like the Brooklyn Bridge Manhattan Bridge, the promenades. The cohost, Mary Beth met us when we arrived, helping with the luggage and orienting us to the apartment. The kitchen was compact, but it did have all cooking and eating utensils that you would need The only item missing was storage containers or some type of wrap to cover any leftovers. Both John and Marybeth were quick to respond to any questions we had. Except for normal New York traffic sounds the apartment was quiet and we did not hear any neighbor noise or loud music. Once out for the day, we did not return until the evening, so climbing the stairs was not a deterrent to us. This is an apartment and location I would not hesitate to rebook. It was a pleasure. If you want to experience the real flavor of Brooklyn Heights this is it.

Although pricey, this home away from home fit our vacation needs wonderfully. We loved how close it was to the subway and to good restaurants and stores. The neighborhood felt safe and was close to fabulous views of the city. The owners were accommodating yet allowed us our privacy. The 3 flights of stairs proved challenging, but all in all, we loved it.

Had a great stay in the apartment. Everything was as described and the place was clean, quiet and spacious. Interior was exactly as pictured and we had everything we needed. Perfect place to come home to after long days in the city! Would 100% stay again. Thanks!
