If you're looking for peace and quiet, in gorgeous surroundings, stay here! My husband and I stayed for the weekend and wished our time at Parsonage House had been longer. The place was just like the pictures, with luxurious bedding and bath, in a secluded suite. In the mornings, we ate well, enjoying tea, hot croissants, yogurt and fresh fruit. During the day, we walked through Badminton Estate and had wood-fired pizza in the garden of a local pub. We chose this particular area to get away from London and to enjoy the countryside without the crowds present in many locations. We walked for hours and took in the fresh air without hearing a single motorbike or honking horn. Priceless! I saved the best for last: Elizabeth and John. We've stayed at many properties around the world and place you in a league of hosts who are known for warmth and kindness. Thank you for making us feel so welcome, the genuine chats and for sharing the beautiful space you've created. Top notch all the way!

Our time with Elizabeth in Badminton was a spectacular time of retreat! We spent two nights there and enjoyed both immensely - already dreaming of when we might return. When we arrived Elizabeth helped us map out a route for our drive around the countryside the next day. She whipped out a map and helped show us towns to visit, shared stores and stops we might enjoy, and gave her magnificent pub recommendations. Both nights we dined at pubs recommended by Liz and they exceeded expectations. Accommodations were charming and all very clean and the bed was incredibly comfy. Not only is the house and surroundings exactly as described, you won’t find a friendlier host or family. I can’t recommend this listing enough!

Hosts are very hospitable - it's a lovely family home full of character and tastefully decorated/furnished. My room (Highgrove room) was typically furnished/styled in Cotswold colours & furnishings creating a relaxing ambiance - great comfy kingsize bed and lovely en suite full bathroom. My room was on the top floor up x2 flights of stairs which would have been a struggle for me without help with my luggage - again this was no problem, help was instantly at hand. Very easy, secure and accessible parking. The breakfast was just as I would have expected. A great generous varied fresh fruit salad & fresh warm croissant/jams/chocolate petit pain being the highlight for me as a 'foodie' - all quality brands are offered so you can enjoy your breakfast as you would at home. The breakfast room overlooks the garden and is a peaceful relaxing space. Elizabeth was always at hand making sure you had everything you needed and we had enjoyable chats. Highly recommended! 😊

Elizabeth and John were very responsive, friendly and helpful hosts. we got great recommendation from them to visit and to experience the places and activities. they are very warm in welcoming us and made sure our stay was pleasant all through. we would definitely visit this place again with our parents. love them💕💕💕
