We couldn’t have been happier with the welcoming, peaceful, clean design, attention to detail, and incredible views of this lovely home for our family’s week away. The location couldn’t have been better…privately tucked away on the mountainside with amazing unobstructed view of the valley and mountains, oriented to take in the full splendor of the sunsets, and literally only five minutes from the shops and restaurants and galleries and farms of Manchester Center, and access to many wonderful Green Mountain National Forest hiking trails and waterfalls, and in the other direction 5-15 minutes from three wonderful ski venues. Hosts were friendly and communicative via the AirBnB site; and, after a week away recharging with the lovely views from their home, days skiing and exploring the area, and some lovely family meals and puzzles and board games, we look forward to hopefully returning again the next time we have the chance to vacation in the area. Perfect family getaway for any season!

The view from the home is peaceful and beautiful. Each day the view changes a little bit, whether it be the weather, or the alpenglow at sunset. Waking up to this view refreshes your mind. The house it self is charming and spacious. The house also has an advanced heating system with infinite domestic hot water, and good old fashioned hot water base boards that keep you cozy in any temp. I have stayed in many Vermont houses over the years, none kept me as comfy as this house. We had a great time and will look to stay here again!

Had a great stay here over the holidays. The drive to Stratton is an easy 18 minute drive. The kitchen is very well stocked with anything you could need (pots, pans, spices, Tupperware, etc.). Beds are comfortable and downstairs living room area is cozy. Hosts are very responsible. Can’t say I’ve ever had a host respond as quickly as they did! Overall great stay.

This was our second stay at Taryn's place. We absolutely love the house, the area and Taryn & David are great hosts. It's beautifully situated, close to town & trails, has amazing views, and is just a great, cozy, peaceful place to stay. Taryn & David are super helpful, communicative, AND understanding - even when we had small mishaps (ie: when we accidentally broke a kitchen item we needed to replace). The house has everything you need for a wonderful stay - we loved cooking, hanging by the fire, and enjoying the amazing deck with the most stunning mountain views. We love staying here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful stay in Vermont. We hope to be back!
