Elaine is a wonderful host, very easy to chat to. she went out of her way to make sure I had all I needed for my stay. My room was large and quirky, a great spot to stay if you're in the area.

What a lovely place to stay! Elaine's home is beautiful, comfortable, and I was made to feel very welcomed and to make myself at home. I think that this was the best night's sleep I've had in many,many years. And the homemade bread at breakfast...wow!

Unser Aufenthalt bei Elaine war umwerfend. Elaine ist sehr gastfreundlich und zuvorkommend, eine liebenswerte Person. Uns fehlte es an nichts. Es gibt ein Wohnzimmer das voll zu Verfügung steht mit allem was das Herz begehrt, vom offenen Feuer (was Elaine jeden Abend entzündete) bis hin zur Flasche Wein. Das Frühstück war einfach, aber lecker und reichlich. Ein Kühlschrank, ein Wasserkocher und eine Mikrowelle stehen einem zur Verfügung. Sowie die Verpflegung dazu. Die Schlafzimmer sind schön groß und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet! Bei unserer Abreise hat Elaine uns mit vielen Tips in unseren Interessen (die sie durch aufmerksames Zuhören ausgewählt hatte), Obst und Glückwünschen auf den Weg geschickt. Bei ihr lebt ein Boxer, ein sehr lieber Hund, der aber nur auf Wunsch in den Gästebereich gelassen wird.

Elaine's home is absolutely fabulous, such a beautiful place! The house is so quirky with endless personality. Elaine has so many personal touches and thought put into hosting. She was excellent at communicating even though my booking was last minute. I arrived to a very warm welcome and a beautiful log fire. The room was gorgeous with the most comfortable bed! Elaine even put on the electric blanket for me! She had also left out little sweets and chocolates which was lovely. The property is just off the motorway, making a great stop-off point. The area is so peaceful and tranquil however, that it would make a great place to stay a little longer. Although it's rural, the proximity to the motorway and the fact it's in the midlands makes it a great base for travelling around Ireland. Best of all was Elaine's hospitality. I had such a lovely evening chatting with Elaine and another guest by the fire with her fabulous dog, Drake. It really was a lovely experience!
