For us, the best reason to stay at Wanda's place is the peaceful surroundings. There are two new apartment complexes being built nearby so, during the day, some construction noise can be present. However, noise in Nairobi is omnipresent , particularly from traffic. It is a large, busy city, after all! Rest assured, though, Wanda's place offers an oasis of calm and a respite from the chaos. The compound is well served by private security and sits well back from the road. A shopping mall and large supermarket are an easy stroll away and Über taxis are always lurking in the neighbourhood. The complex is equipped with a small pool and a gym, but, sadly, we found the gym equipment (other than free weights) to be largely unserviceable. The surrounding gardens and trees offer a cool respite from the sun. The apartment is older and some of the furniture could use repair or replacement, but it is very well equipped and the place is kept clean and serviced by the lovely Eva. We will be back!

The place needs new sheets, new seats both dining and living room. The cleaning was wanting dust all over. Internet barely worked. We Arrived at midnight to a rude guard who didn’t know we were coming. While the location is safe and close to junction, and had a washer and drier those were the only 2 things I loved. The host never responded to my communications after I booked the place. Bed sheet had stains, living room sofa was torn and worn out, dining room chairs were stained. Talked to the housekeeper about cleaning the place properly, always fell short. The house keeper was nice. She took care of our concerns as best as she could. The host had another unit opposite this one that was in much better condition. Light between master bedroom and toilet didn’t work reported it and it was never fixed. If these things don’t bother you then this is the place for you. Was not with almost $1000.

The apartment is as described in the listing. It's a secure, serviced apt very conveniently located near Junction Mall, with easy access to shopping, movies and restaurants. I consider Wandia's apt a home away from home.

Trevligt boende av enkel standard som var rent och snyggt! Ett stort tack till Eva som var lätt tillgänglig och svarade på frågor, snabbt fixade det som inte fungerade och såg till att lägenheten var välstädad. Och enkelt att få kontakt med Wandia via chat.
